Final Exam

The brand that I have been following is Mountain Dew. A technique that could get me a job at Mountain Dew is product placement. Earlier in the semester one of our assignments was to find an example of our brands using product placement. I remember being able to find an example in a movie but it was from quite a while ago. My pitch to Mountain Dew would involve using product placement in a new show. COVID-19 has forced people to quarantine themselves. Being stuck in the house has caused people to watch more television and stream more shows. Shows like “Tiger King” and “The Last Dance” have become extremely popular in this time period. But those shows have already been filmed. Mountain Dew should contact Netflix and set up a deal where their product could be displayed in one of Netflix’s new original series that hasn’t come out yet. Viewers would be more likely to buy Mountain Dew because they saw it in their favorite show.
